The new motion sensing key fob detects when it has been stationary for longer than 40 seconds and triggers a sleep mode. This stops all attempts to hack its signal with a relay box. Moving the fob by picking it up inside your home and walking to your vehicle disables sleep mode and restores full functionality. The Motion Sensing Key Fob is designed to operate within a 2 metre radius of the vehicle it is bonded to.
